All our staff are professionally trained and have a wealth of experience and knowledge in Research and Development including: sampling, testing, data analysis and acquisition to provide accurate and timely results.
Our staff comprises of members with qualifications ranging from HND, BSc., MSc. and PhD in Physical Chemistry, Biological, Environmental and Agricultural Sciences.
Stack Emission Analysis
The flue gas parameters are guided by KS 1515 and National Environment and Coordination Act of 1999. We check for compliance with the maximum standard limits and provide recommendations. We submit report for EDL licensing by NEMA.
Effluent Discharge Sampling
The Water effluent parameters are guided by National Environment and Coordination Act (Water Quality Guidelines) of 2006 as per NEMA guidelines. We check effluent discharge against maximum standard limits for discharge into public sewers or into the environment.
Sample Analysis
Currently in Kenya we have advanced research in the field of materials attributed to the growing demand for building materials, road construction materials, engineering materials, manufacturing materials and mineralogy. Our Laboratories have the capacity to perform tests for solid materials for structure, purity, etc.
Air Quality Monitoring
CSI International Limited is NEMA designated and accredited by KENAS to carry out air quality monitoring according to local and international standards. Emissions from Boilers, generators, Incinerators, Burners, Asphalt Plants, Sulphonation Plants, and several other industrial processes emit pollutants that are either gaseous or particulates into the environment.
Laboratory Services
The laboratory is NEMA designated and accredited by KENAS for Laboratory Testing (ISO/IEC 17025:2017), fulfilling all the requirements. As an analytical laboratory, we are committed to providing affordable and the highest quality in all services rendered with the lowest turn-around time. Soil Sampling and Analysis
Water Analysis
Our staff performs water testing for inorganic and volatile organic compounds for drinking, domestic and waste water. We have instrumentation dedicated to water testing and test for all the regulated and non-regulated compounds of concern. Our lab also carry out a wider range of analyses relevant to the health related parameters laid down by WHO water quality standards.
Agrochemicals/Pesticide Residue Analysis
Agricultural activities such as Horticulture and Floriculture rely heavily on use of farm inputs such as agrochemicals, pesticides and fertilizers. In pesticide analysis we determine levels of remnant residues of pesticides in plants, food and soils. This in important for the consumers to be assured of the quality and level of residues within food.
